“We were not quite sure what to expect when we asked Karen to do a redesign using our own furniture with the objective of improving the function and comfort of our home. One basic problem we had was that our living/dining area was not comfortable or inviting and we generally avoided using it. A second problem was our family room with somewhat the same concern. The prospect of preparing our well lived-in home for sale was terrifying to me with our two young children and their toys in the house.
